Features of the Manuscript of the Book *Jawhar-e Mo'azzam* by Mowlana Mirza Gol Mohammad Nateq Makrani
Manuscripts are legacies of past eras that must be preserved through introduction and critical editing. The book *Jawhar-e Mo'azzam* is one of the Persian poetic and prose works, essentially a selection from the works of Gol Mohammad Khan Nateq, an orator from Pakistani Balochistan, which includes his poems and letters. This research aims to identify the characteristics of this manuscript; it introduces the book and examines its codicology and style. *Jawhar-e Mo'azzam* contains poems in the forms of *qasida*, *ghazal*, *robā'i*, *qet'a*, and single couplets (*fard*), composed on various themes such as: panegyric (*madh*), religious encomium (*manqabat*), romantic, *Qalandari*, requests for patronage, self-praise, and complaints against fate. His letters also include critiques of speech, praise, and complaints addressed to his patrons. The orthography of the book is, in parts, inconsistent and contains inaccuracies. In most instances, the general rule is connected writing. In terms of external rhythm (*musiqi-ye biruni*), the variety of metrical patterns is limited. Sixty-two percent of the verses employ a radif, and 58% of these radifs are verbal. From a literary perspective, various rhetorical and ornamental figures are employed, aligning his style with the Iraqi and Indian stylistic periods.
