Ethical considerations

Journal of Codicology and Manuscript Research is a double-blind peer-reviewed quarterly, and open-access publication, which publishes original research papers. As an Open Access journal, publishing an article in this journal requires an Article Processing Charge (APC). JCMR is following of Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and complies with the highest ethical standards by ethical laws. JCMR is licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International (CC- By 4.0). Licensees may copy, distribute, display, and make derivative works only if they cite the original published articles in this journal. (See Journal's Publication Ethics)

Terms and conditions for manuscript submission

The following should be considered by authors while submitting their work:

  • The manuscript must be the writer's work and cannot have previously appeared in any other publication. If something occurs that conflicts with this, the journal is free to reject it or take necessary action by publishing ethics guidelines.
  • The article must be checked for plagiarism, in whole or in part.
  • The article's sender must be the paper's responsible author, and all the necessary correspondences and follow-ups regarding the manuscript will be done with the responsible author; obviously, any other correspondences other than the responsible author's will be disregarded.
  • The authors' agreement to submit the work for publication and shared accountability for the article's content (commitment form)
  • The publication's authors, referees, and senior users do not have any conflicts of interest (conflict of interest form).
  • The research sponsor, if any, must be disclosed by the authors clearly and concisely.
  • All authors must be aware that this journal uses similarity finder tools to verify submissions to avoid plagiarism.
  • All sources that authors have used, whether directly or indirectly, must be properly and appropriately cited.
Scientific Criteria 

The article must have original research and analytical innovation and the result of research and exploration of the author or authors.

The authors should use the scientific research method and authentic sources to write the article.

After receiving the article, it will be sent to the journal's editorial board for review and evaluation. After meeting the conditions, it is sent to the scientific reviewers of the journal. After going through the process, the editorial board, looking at the reviewers' evaluation in case of scientific merit, will accept the article and publish it.

Article Size

1️⃣ Article Title: Maximum 20 words

2️⃣ Abstract: One paragraph, maximum 250 words including a summary of the problem statement, research objective, research method, findings and conclusion of the article

3️⃣ Keywords: 3-5 words

4️⃣ Article: Maximum 20 pages or 5000 words

5️⃣ Images: PNG - JPG with medium quality and small size
