Abstract
Bostan al-Sayah is one of the most important and informative travelogues written in the Qajar period. This book is written by Mirza Zain al-Abidin bin Iskander Shirvani. Due to the fact that the travel time and space of the author of Bostan al-Sayah was very wide, that is, within 37 years, he visited most of the continent of Asia to the Far East and the islands below the equator, part of Europe and part of North Africa, and with He has met the peoples and the owners of different religions and traditions and collected the results of all of them in the book Bostan al-Sayah - it sheds light on the dark corners of history that were hidden in the pasts of today's politics and has a great literary and content value. It is high and low, however, it has not been recognized as it deserves. In addition to the general benefits that can be found in other books, the book also has special and unique benefits that can only be found in this book. This work was published for the first time about 130 years ago, in 1315 A.H. It was printed in lithography and later several times in lithography and offset printing. Bostan al-Sayah has been revised and published in 3 volumes by the efforts of Manijeh Mahmoudi in recent years. Since, first of all, no proper effort has been made in introducing and popularizing this encyclopedic book, and secondly, Mahmoudi's correction, along with all its advantages and merits, also has shortcomings and disadvantages, so this essay follows it. is to introduce this work in a descriptive-analytical way, and to put the correction of the text in the process of criticism. The results of the research show that the problems of correction can be divided into two main parts; The first case is related to the interference of unscientific and inconsistent corrections in the versions, and the preference of incorrect versions over the preferred versions, and the second case is also related to technical issues of Sentence typesetting and typing and gross mistakes in the use of Sajavandi signs and the like.
